January Whole30 Week 2 Meal Plan and Shopping List

Congratulations!!!!! You made it to week two of the Whole30!! This is big news and you should feel super accomplished! You have made it through the hangover and the grumpy days, the rest of the way will be a piece of cake. I’m not going to lie, I had a headache on day three and I was pretty tired even though I eat paleo the majority of the time. But I’m good as new now! I know from experience that your first whole30 can be really rough the first couple weeks, but hang in there because it is totally worth it!

The biggest obstacles you are going to come across this week are fatigue and some bloat. The fatigue is real guys…like waking up at 7 am after partying all night kind of tired. But it’s because your body’s sugar levels are regulating and your body is learning how to use fat for energy (Hell ya, later fat!). But this too shall pass. Until then, get as many hours of sleep as you can and keep at it. Knowing somebody doing the Whole30 with you makes these days much easier. You can chat with them to see how they are feeling and rant a little if necessary. I have a few people doing this with me and I love seeing all the yummy things they are cooking up and having an accountability group. If you need one too then let me know and I can do that, friend!

Reverse Seared Steak with Kale and Sweet Potato Fries– Stupid Easy Paleo

Chipotle Pulled Pork Lettuce Wraps with Avocado Aioli– Fashionable Foods

Now guys, keep in mind that this is just an example of what your week can look like. Feel free to substitute anything you like (as long as it’s Whole30 compliant of course!) or switch up the days for whatever works better for your schedule 🙂 Also, I messed up last week and made the meal plan from Mon-Sun even thought we started on a Tues. Whoops!! I knew you guys were smart enough to figure it out. But for the sake of keeping things simple, I kept it the same this week. (I also spelled miscellaneous wrong on the shopping list and didn’t realize it until I printed it out…don’t judge me!!)
